Ok now I have compiled a list of things that I have had as favorites this month. I just want to go more into some a little more. You all may know that I have somewhat been sucked into tumblr. But let's just look at my feed for this month.

I think this might be my favorite. Ugh I can't 😍😍😍😍😍😍

I guess I'll just put my reaction to the Side to Side music video by Ariana Grande. I've always been a pretty big fan of Ariana Grande but recently I've thought her music was not that great. But when I heard this song, the first thing I thought was damn. I really think that this song is really good. I think it has a good tune, I guess? And at first when she got bangs I was kind of like ok.. I guess I wasn't expecting it or something. It was a big change from what she usually does with her hair. But in this music video I thought her hair was styled great and I was like SLAYYYYY.

Comment below some of your favorites from this month. I've been wondering if I should get a twitter or not also comment below what you think of that?

Love,
Caroline

How to: Stay Calm and Positive

I know school is almost here and stress rises with balancing homework, sports, or extra curricular activities. Today, I am here to help you all deal with your stress (and my own stress). Yes, this is part of the back to school series. Unfortunately, with back to school comes stress, I am here to help. Also, we need a name for our back to school series. Comment below some name suggestions.

I think the main source of stress is homework levels. Sometimes when you look at your agenda book and see basically no empty spaces, your brain is going to start yelling, "TOO MUCH TO DO SO LITTLE TIME!!!! TIME TO FREAK OUT!!!" To be honest, this is me. First, take a few deep breaths. In my last post, I showed you all how to prepare your room for back to school. If you did any of these things, then they will come handy here. Maybe looking at your inspiration board will help you get to your goal, even if it is completely unrelated to school. Maybe over the summer on the plane, or a long car ride, you completed some coloring sheets (also from a past post. Here is the link to the website I introduced Everything Etsy). Maybe you put those on your inspiration board.

Now that you have looked at your inspiration board for motivation, maybe stress relieving, lets break down your crammed assignment notebook. I created a Homework Organizer for you all. Let me break it down for you. The first column is the subject (I added a few extra rows for elective hw and languages), the second column is the assignment, the fourth is the date due, the fifth is the priority, and the sixth is notes. For the fifth column, priority, sometimes somethings are due the next day, or you don't have that class tomorrow, or you have a project that isn't due tomorrow. So you would rate it 1 being most urgent and 5 being least urgent. The sixth column notes, is for those teachers who assign you a project not due in a while, but they tell you to start it right away anyway. Or those teachers who announce you have a test soon or sometime.

Next in my back to school room post, I said that it is nice to have a calendar to plan all your tests and projects and assignments. So grab a calendar, whether you already have one or you can make you own on google docs, or by one. Get a cheap calendar though!

And then get working!! Come on you don't have much time, you still want to be able to get a good amount of sleep. I hope you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful, comment below what our back to school series should be named. Also comment below when you are going back to school. I am going back on August 31. New posts every Sunday, and good luck with school.

Across the Lake - Europe 2+ Week Trip

You guys may not have noticed, but from August 1-17 I went to France with my sister. You most likely didn't notice because I had posts scheduled anyway. So I traveled to France with my sister unattended. I'm 14 so I'm still a minor because adults on my airline are 15+. It was really hard to say goodbye to my parents tbh I cried... The trip was really fun though. We were in Paris and in the South of France. Here I was also with my grandparents aunt and cousin. My cousin is Japanese and doesn't know much English or French so it was a bit difficult to communicate. During this trip though I checked so many things off my bucket list and did so many fun things. Here are the things I checked off my bucket list.

- Traveling unattended
- Going on a Ferris Wheel
- Conquering my fear of heights
- Climb the Eiffel Tower
- Take good pictures

I conquered my fear of heights a little because I went on the Eiffel Tower and Ferris Wheel. I have been on the Eiffel Tower before but I don't remember so I decided to put this in my bucket list. I did take many good pictures and the trip was so much fun. The pictures are going to be below. Some parts of this trip were kind of annoying but altogether it was AMAZING!! tbh I've slightly forgotten English...

Hope school is good for you all,
Caroline ✈

p.s. credits go to the picture taken underwater. That is a picture of me (right) and my cousin (left). The second and third picture were taken from a ferris wheel. If you are ever visiting France soon or have an Amorino near you, you NEED to go get some ice cream from there.

DIY Back to School Room 😭

Unfortunately I have to go back to school soon... I'm entering high school and I am soooo nervous. If you have any tips for me for high school, please comment below. I think it is important to prep your room to get ready for the school year. You'll be needing motivation for a whole 365 days in the same building seeing the same people. Also I fell like high school is so much of a big deal. You are only spending 4 years there then you can get your liscense and boom your moving out to go to college. Teachers are saying, "Don't worry, college is so far away." Uh HELLO? College and so much more stress is coming our way in the span of 4 years. Please tell me I'm not the only one stressing out about this. Okay, enough ranting, time to get into the post.

INSPIRATION BOARD:
I think a big part of motivation is by inspiration to do things. This is my in school it may help for you to create a inspiration board with pictures you enjoy, people that inspire you, goals, good grade, part of your bucket list, what ever you want. You could put this on a cork board or just keep it on a piece of paper. Whichever one is easier. Please do not go out and buy any materials from the store. All you  need for this is some paper and a printer (for pictures if you want to print any) and that is it. These DIYs are supposed to be inexpensive.

CALENDAR
A calendar is really useful when you want to plan out all of your school activities and when there are tests and projects due. It is a really easy way to stay organized. And again kind of similar to the inspiration board, do not go out to buy a calendar, there is no need to be doing that.

I hope you all enjoyed this post, I know it was little on the shorter side and if you have seen my other posts that is probably strange. But please enjoy the summer while you have it!!!

Over and Over - Typical Summer Week

Today I am going to be sharing with you all, my typical summer routine. My summers are usually pretty jam packed with things to do. This year, I felt was especially packed. I spend my days usually doing the same thing over and over.

So basically every morning, I will wake up at 6:30 and go to sailing. I'll spend about 6 hours there, 8:30-3:00 and sometimes even longer. I sometimes take classes, help out with a class, help out on the dock, and a lot more. It is a lot of work and now I have a nice tan from spending so much time in the sun.

Then after that, I usually have some time spent at home, about 2 hours, before I have to go to swimming. It turns out to be a really long day, sometimes I wish I didn't have so much to do. And this is how I have spent my time for the past 3 weeks. I have taken a class for 420, windsurf, and keel boat.

What I don't like about the place I sail, is that the water is really disgusting. A long time ago, this river was used to dump poop and pee and grossness like that. I mean they have cleaned it, but it is still gross and it smells really bad.

Below I have a picture of a squirel that one day was really close to me while I was eating breakfast while waiting for the building of the sailing camp to open. The next picture is the pool I swim at. To be honest, that pool is not the best quality but oh well. Remember, new posts every Sunday and please do me a favor and enter your email to subscribe!
