This weekend was pretty crazy, which I the reason why I am posting so late. I mean, you would be notified about my posting if you were subscribed! Come on, it's just a few simple steps. No pressure, don't worry.
So this past weekend I went to a swim team sleepover. It started at 8:00 pm on Saturday (11/5/16). We started off the night by just talking and drinking lemonade, sprite, or iced tea. Then we were given some joke gifts based on our personalities. Then I was in a little group that played Bean Boozled. I got some pretty bad ones. At one point I got dead fish!! It was soooo gross. But then I was able to wash down the taste with some ice cream and my favorite, rainbow sprinkles!!! Then we went up into the host's super adorable room and played superlatives. If you don't know what that is, superlatives are the most likely too... So basically you would wisper a most likely to thing in someone's ear and then out loud they would say who they think would do the thing you said. At the end you share out what you said. Make sure not to get offended by anything anyone says. Then some people wanted to watch a scary movie. And I am not about scary movies so I chilled with the girls who didn't want to watch it while the others watched "Silence of the Lambs". So we just hung out 7 people crammed in a bed talking about stuff. At about 1:00 am we decided it was time to go to bed. One girl had already fallen asleep. It took me a little bit to go to bed and a lot of people were coming into our room and being like "wow there are so many people in there" just a reminder that there were 4 people in 1 bed and 3 sleeping on the floor. Apparently some other people went to bed at 4:00 am.
I woke up at about 7:30 am. And I didn't really know what to do. No one in my room was awake and I wasn't sure if anyone else in the house was awake. I didn't know what to do, so I just decided to stay on my little camping mattress on the floor until 8:30 am when a girl in our room had set her alarm. Then when everyone woke up. We kind of debriefed of what happened the night before. [forgot to include this, we moved from the hostess' room to a room in the attic where it was much cooler and better for the people with allergies. (she had a cat)] Since many of the girls fell asleep and didn't remember some stuff. lol. Then we went to eat breakfast which was so good. There were lots of options of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and hot chocolate. It was all so good. I left the house at about 9:30 am.
I just decided why not give you a little bit more of what happened outside of the sleepover. Then I had swim practice at 10:30 am. So I went from the sleepover to my house, to swimming. It was rough but luckily practice wasn't too bad. Practice ended at 12:20 pm and after we all took showers and it was sooo nice. When I got home I started studying and doing homework and nothing too interesting.
So the clocks switched this weekend and we got and extra hour of sleep! But now the sun sets at like 4 pm and it is so weird. This weekend was crazy but kind of nice. I'll see you all next Sunday with another post that I can promise you is coming out at 12:00 pm EST. Have a great week!

Across the Lake - Europe 2+ Week Trip
You guys may not have noticed, but from August 1-17 I went to France with my sister. You most likely didn't notice because I had posts scheduled anyway. So I traveled to France with my sister unattended. I'm 14 so I'm still a minor because adults on my airline are 15+. It was really hard to say goodbye to my parents tbh I cried... The trip was really fun though. We were in Paris and in the South of France. Here I was also with my grandparents aunt and cousin. My cousin is Japanese and doesn't know much English or French so it was a bit difficult to communicate. During this trip though I checked so many things off my bucket list and did so many fun things. Here are the things I checked off my bucket list.
- Traveling unattended
- Going on a Ferris Wheel
- Conquering my fear of heights
- Climb the Eiffel Tower
- Take good pictures
I conquered my fear of heights a little because I went on the Eiffel Tower and Ferris Wheel. I have been on the Eiffel Tower before but I don't remember so I decided to put this in my bucket list. I did take many good pictures and the trip was so much fun. The pictures are going to be below. Some parts of this trip were kind of annoying but altogether it was AMAZING!! tbh I've slightly forgotten English...
Hope school is good for you all,
Caroline ✈

p.s. credits go to the picture taken underwater. That is a picture of me (right) and my cousin (left). The second and third picture were taken from a ferris wheel. If you are ever visiting France soon or have an Amorino near you, you NEED to go get some ice cream from there.

Over and Over - Typical Summer Week
Today I am going to be sharing with you all, my typical summer routine. My summers are usually pretty jam packed with things to do. This year, I felt was especially packed. I spend my days usually doing the same thing over and over.
So basically every morning, I will wake up at 6:30 and go to sailing. I'll spend about 6 hours there, 8:30-3:00 and sometimes even longer. I sometimes take classes, help out with a class, help out on the dock, and a lot more. It is a lot of work and now I have a nice tan from spending so much time in the sun.
Then after that, I usually have some time spent at home, about 2 hours, before I have to go to swimming. It turns out to be a really long day, sometimes I wish I didn't have so much to do. And this is how I have spent my time for the past 3 weeks. I have taken a class for 420, windsurf, and keel boat.
What I don't like about the place I sail, is that the water is really disgusting. A long time ago, this river was used to dump poop and pee and grossness like that. I mean they have cleaned it, but it is still gross and it smells really bad.
Below I have a picture of a squirel that one day was really close to me while I was eating breakfast while waiting for the building of the sailing camp to open. The next picture is the pool I swim at. To be honest, that pool is not the best quality but oh well. Remember, new posts every Sunday and please do me a favor and enter your email to subscribe!

Cake by the Ocean - Cape Cod Week Trip
A few weeks ago I visited Cape Cod for a week. I went there for my little sister's birthday, she's turning 5. At Cape Cod, we had many adventures. Biking, Kayaking, Swimming, and Boogie boarding. If you are not familiar with the concept of boogie boarding, then you should be, it is close to surfing somewhat. There will be a post all about it soon. I spent a lot of my time in the ocean which yes, is cold, but if you throw on a t-shirt or rash guard, you'll be fine. I sometimes have sinus problems and ocean salt water is great for it. Here's the trick, literally inhale the ocean water and then blow it out, all through your nose. There will also be a post soon about benefits of salt water or something like that. When my sister's birthday came around we had a Carvel ice cream cake, you can never go wrong with an ice cream cake. Then at the end of the day we hit the beach to do sparklers, they are always so much fun. On the 4th of July, my family went to go see the fireworks. Since my sister is only 5, we only saw a little bit of the fireworks. I realized that fireworks are just the same and they just get repeated throughout the show. We also had a bonfire on the beach one day. We had hot dogs cooked over the flame, and corn, and then for dessert, we had marshmallows!!
I have to say there were some really amazing sunsets seen on this trip. I also got nicely sunburnt as well. And being a ginger, you are first red as a lobster, and then it usually turns all freckled and rarely a tan. I think in my case I got tan and freckled. And now, my skin is dry... And also peeling... But in the end it was all so much fun and I am so glad that I got an oportunity to go to Cape Cod and have so many awesome adventures there. On Cape Cod there are some surfing schools there so next year, I may learn to surf! That will be something to check off my bucket list! 😊
I hope you all enjoyed this post and getting a look into my personal life. There will be some more soon. Below there are 8 pictures that I have selected from the many pictures that I took on this trip. New posts every Sunday!
